Your Use of This Site is Prohibited!
Posted by ltlw0lf on Saturday, July 29, 2006 (03:02:48) (216 reads)
According to C|Net's Declan McCullagh, the House of Representatives has passed a ban on accessibility of "Social Networking Sites" and "Chat Rooms" via public systems at Libraries and other public spaces. This would, undoubtfully include this website, which offers both "Chat Rooms" (though, we prefer to call them forums for 1st admendment protected speech) and the ability to post your own blog and comments to stories posted by others. Of course, with the broad definition of these sites within the ban, they might have an easier job just banning the entire web.
